It’s the micro and nano-influencers that are now going to be the way forward. It’s not only the decreased cost of such an approach but also the efficiency of working with these smaller-sized influencers. Think about it, the smaller the number of followers, the more niche that targeted audience is likely to be, and the higher the chance the influencer in question has a more meaningful relationship (and, therefore, higher impact) with his follower-base.
